Exhibition: New Artists 2026, Annual High School Art Exhibition

The popular exhibition, which highlights young local talent features 2-D and 3-D works of a variety of media, by 9th-12th grade artists selected by art teachers from Bigfork, Columbia Falls, Kalispell, Whitefish and surrounding areas, as well as Homeschool submissions.
These featured works represent the best of the best and are hand-selected by their teachers from their respective schools. Curators Choice Awards for 2-D and 3-D will be announced at the opening reception. Visitors can also vote in person at the museum for the People’s Choice Award through Saturday, March 14 and will be announced the following week. Winners of Curator’s Choice and People’s Choice awards receive a cash prize as well as a one-year family membership to the museum. 
The museum has a long history of supporting young artists in the community. The first presentation of this collaborative, annual exhibition for teen artists was in 1980, over 45 years ago!
