2026 St. Patrick's Day Weekend Celebrations

Celebrate Irish heritage all day long at Missoula’s annual Irish celebration.
The festivities begin at 8 a.m. with a traditional Irish Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church. At noon, don’t miss the lively parade through downtown Missoula. From 1– p.m., enjoy a free carousel ride at Dragon Hollow, fun for the whole family. At 1:30 p.m., head to Washington–Grizzly Stadium for an exciting Hurling Match, showcasing Ireland’s fast-paced, ancient national sport in a thrilling showdown. At 2 p.m., savor the spirit of Ireland during an Irish whiskey tasting at The Rhino, to sample fine whiskeys born of a 3,000-year tradition of distillation. Cap off the day at the Holiday Inn Downtown, where Friends of Irish Studies host their Banquet and Auction from 6–-9:30 p.m. Enjoy authentic Irish food, music, drink and dance, all while supporting the Irish Studies program at the University of Montana.
